Alabama lady killed by pack of canine; owner charged with manslaughter

An employee of the Alabama Department of Public Health was killed by a pack of dogs within the northwestern part of the state last week as she was responding to a report about one other attack involving the same canines earlier in the week, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office mentioned Friday on Fb.
Jacqueline Summer Beard was pronounced useless Friday by the Franklin County coroner after native residents known as the police to report a suspicious vehicle, the sheriff's office said. It reported that on Friday morning, she was following up on an incident earlier in the week during which the dogs attacked a girl who was walking. The lady remains hospitalized in Mississippi, AL.com reported.
When officers arrived at the scene, a number of canine began attacking the residents, inflicting one among them to sustain minor injuries and a few of the canines to be euthanized immediately, the sheriff's office stated. Officers then discovered Beard's physique in the car, the sheriff's workplace stated.
Dowdy was charged with manslaughter and is being held with out bail, public information show.
