The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the capturing.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was just crying, like 'I think it just hit Miah. I think all the pieces got here to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of the two teachers killed. Her associates and classmates have been also targeted.

Rivera said that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah obtained some blood and put it on herself so she could faux she was lifeless," stated Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene over and over, however that's what my sister-in-law stated is that she noticed her pal stuffed with blood and she bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother mentioned she had bullet fragments in her back," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, stated the household is rallying round Miah to help her recuperate bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we just have to wish and ask God to assist us move forward by way of this case, I do know it's traumatizing as it is," stated Rivera.

Nearly everyone in the town of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of someone in the mass taking pictures at Robb Elementary School, residents are supporting one another as they begin dealing with the tragedy.
