EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the legal alcohol restrict after at least five individuals known as 911.
Officers say the calls began coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Important Street exit. They say the crash prompted a flat tire and the car to smoke, but the driver kept going.
Other callers say the driving force was all over the road and now missing a entrance tire.
They are saying he finally stopped at a automotive dealership and appeared “super drunk.”
Workers instructed police the driver, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was making an attempt to promote his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.
They say Mattingly smelled of alcohol and nearly fell several instances. Officers say he examined .291 on a transportable breath test.
Police say inside his SUV, they found Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
Mattingly is going through a number of fees.
He's the son of the manager for the Miami Marlins and former skilled baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
