Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles within the car. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officials said. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
