Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the street from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles within the car. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officials mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
