Uvalde faculty police chief recognized as commander who decided not to breach classroom

Texas Department of Public Security Director Col. Steven McCraw on Friday gave an in depth timeline of the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School on May 24 that left 19 kids and two lecturers dead.

Here are the important thing moments he laid out (all instances are in Central Commonplace Time):

11:27 a.m.: Video exhibits that an exterior door to Ross Elementary College that gunman Salvador Ramos entered was propped open by a trainer.

12:03 p.m.: As many as 19 officers are within the school's hallway. 

12:03 p.m.: A woman in room 112 of the school makes a 911 name.

12:10 p.m.: A 911 name is received from the same woman in room 112, reporting multiple individuals are lifeless.

12:13 p.m.: The girl makes one other 911 name.

12:15 p.m.: Border Patrol's tactical unit BorTac crew arrives on scene.

12:16 p.m.: The same lady makes another 911 call, reporting there have been “eight to 9 students alive."

12:17 p.m.: Robb Elementary broadcasts on Facebook: "There may be an energetic shooter at Robb Elementary. Law enforcement is on web site. Your cooperation is needed at this time by not visiting the campus. As soon as extra data is gathered will probably be shared. The rest of the district is below a Safe Standing."

12:19 p.m.: A unique 911 name is received from a caller in room 111, however the caller hung up after another scholar told them to.
