Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Huge Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak started on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I rely every Big Mac. I’ve counted each Huge Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Massive Macs a day.

“All through life right here, lots of people stated, ‘You’ll be useless before you reach 50 years of eating Big Macs.’ I suppose I proved them mistaken,” he said.

His son isn't shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely satisfied meals. I always beloved my rooster nuggets, and my brother at all times loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of factor for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse eating regimen.

“I used to eat hen nuggets each day. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, but eventually you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, but he definitely does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue eating Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side till he dies.

“A number of times people will say, ‘You appear to be I’m eating a Large Mac for the primary time,’” Gorske stated. “I assume that’s how I really feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d somewhat eat,” he stated.
