Russian spy airplane violates Swedish air space

A Russian reconnaissance aircraft briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish protection officers stated on Saturday, as the Scandinavian country ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller aircraft violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish defense ministry stated in a statement, including that its teams had followed the incident and photographed it.
The ministry stated the airplane was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island within the Baltic, earlier than it headed towards Swedish territory.
“It's completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This motion is unprofessional and given the general security situation very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should always be respected.”
