TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in jail for touring to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, according to officers.

The U.S. Division of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two totally different instances in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Court data say he flew forwards and backwards disguising himself as an English teacher.

Among the boys, in line with the DOJ, had been lured with guarantees of cash and items. Others launched him as their English trainer.

The Tampa Bay Information says Homeland Safety investigated the case in Tampa and in Ho Chi Minh Metropolis. It was a part of Challenge Secure Childhood, which was an effort to search out little one intercourse abuse began in 2006 by the DOJ.
