The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the shooting.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law referred to as me and she or he was simply crying, like 'I think it simply hit Miah. I think every little thing got here to reality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera said Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of the two academics killed. Her friends and classmates were also targeted.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah acquired some blood and put it on herself so she could pretend she was lifeless," said Rivera. "It's too much for me to play that scene over and over, but that is what my sister-in-law stated is that she noticed her buddy filled with blood and she or he bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been released.

"My brother stated she had bullet fragments in her back," mentioned Rivera.

Rivera, a mother of three, mentioned the household is rallying around Miah to help her get better physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we just have to wish and ask God to help us transfer forward via this example, I know it is traumatizing as it's," said Rivera.

Almost everybody within the city of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of someone in the mass taking pictures at Robb Elementary College, residents are supporting each other as they start coping with the tragedy.
