A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news launch from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Devoted geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison live at the park, they usually have injured extra individuals than another animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor came inside 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals were also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park stated. The release didn’t say in the event that they have been injured.
The park warned people to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
