BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "school shooter" were present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple prices.

An elevated amount of police officers were placed at faculties in the communities on account of the indicators. Multiple colleges initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the indicators across the communities, the Department of Security mentioned, however they determined there is no such thing as a credible threat at this time.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection department launched a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of felony threatening and three misdemeanor prices together with false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged at this time.
